PrepkitchenPLAY: Prepare for this play by packing your favorite boardgame and order food to-go from Whisknladle's newest project, Prepkitchen.  Take all of these items down to the picnic tables at the Ellen Browning Scripps Park in La Jolla and enjoy food and some friendly competition overlooking the cove.  After your picnic, stop by the new Cups cupcake lounge on Girard...

BLOG:  Love does not have to be expensive.  It just has to be thoughtful.  This play date will prove that you are willing to take the time to "prep" for a nice outing! 

Prepkitchen is a cute little made-to-order shop that creates sandwiches, salads, soups, etc... including artisan cheeses and house cured meats!  You can stay and eat on their precious outdoor patio or take food to go to a special location.  It's Whisknladle's pet project, so you know it must be gourmet!

If you've ever been to La Jolla, then you are familiar with Ellen Browning Scripps Park whether you know it or not.  It is the lucious green park overlooking the cove that is scattered with palm trees, picnic tables, and panoramic views.  The people who patron this park include readers, runners, wedding go-ers, and tourists strolling along the sidewalk.  We've been to this park many times to reflect on life and to remind our ourselves why San Diego is truly a vacation destination.
