Greystone: $35 3-course menu from 5pm - 7pm (or $45 with a wine pairing!) I have not been to this restaurant in a looooooong time, but I remember an upscale atmosphere, great service, and good food. A very nice place for the heart of the Gaslamp.
Osteria Panevino (The Italian sister restaurant to Greystone): $30 3-course menu from 5pm - 7pm (or $40 with a wine pairing!). We have never been here, so let us know what you think! Soleil K at The Marriott: $35 3-course menu for the entire dinner hour (Monday - Thursday until 10:30pm; Friday - Saturday until 11pm) Quarter Kitchen at The Ivy Hotel hosts it's “Fashionably Early” Dinner, a 3-course menu for $30 from 6pm - 7pm. PLUS they offer 1/2 off wine and champagne bottles during that same hour from Sunday to Thursday. We checked out this 3-course menu because we love the Ivy. Even though the restaurant was dead (but the rooftop was happening) it was a stellar experience! We had a drink upstairs first to remind ourselves how great this hotel still is... Donovan's in the Gaslamp: $40 3-course menu throughout their dinner hours!!! (Sunday - Thursday 5pm - 10pm, Friday - Saturday 5pm - 11pm) This restaurant is a staple in fine dining... what a great deal! Morton's is offering their signature menu for two... a 3 course menu for $109. Morton's is a very traditional (and expensive) steakhouse, so this is a great opportunity to celebrate a special occasion without going over budget! (Through March.) The Red Door is a very romantic restaurant tucked away in Mission Hills... but even with all that romance they are still family friendly! On Sundays you can enjoy "Family Dinner Night" from 4:30pm to 6:30pm with a 3 course dinner for 4 for only $49.50. The Pearl Hotel: $25 3-course menu on Monday nights starting at 6pm. Also, they have their great 3-4-5 Happy Hour prices all night: $3 beer, $4 well drinks and $5 wines! Let us know if you learn of any other specially priced menus!
