BLOG: Need a Zen-sational experience to en-lighten up your mood? Then check out the Meditation Gardens in Encinitas... and check out of the daily grind. After reconnecting with the Earth and your partner from this prime veranda, enjoy the sunset at Wine Steals and dinner at Zenbu. I was skeptical about visiting the Meditation Gardens at first, especially because they are hidden behind a towering temple that appears unwelcoming to visitors. But aren't all of life's hidden treasures cloaked in a veil of intimidation at first? (Your first time skydiving, driving on the Autobahn, giving birth to your first child... o.k., I've done none of these.) Expect to encounter feelings of peace and a dose of perspective. Each time I visit a different Wine Steals in San Diego, I like each one better than the last. But the Wine Steals that overlooks Cardiff-by-the-Sea is going to be tough to beat! This is the perfect place for wine with a view. If you go on a Thursday enjoy live music, and if you go on a Saturday indulge in $10 tastings from 4pm - 6:30pm (which is perfectly timed with the sunset). I didn't just pick Zenbu Sushi Restaurant for this date concept because of its name (although that worked out nicely) and its close proximity to Wine Steals, I picked it because it represents the personality of Encinitas so well. Delicious food from the ocean, a giant fish tank full of life, and seemingly surfers serving up some delicious dishes.

Ugg boots were originally worn by World War I pilots who called the sheepskin boots "ug," which is Australian slang for ugly. They were not the most attractive - or complicated - kind of footwear. They were made of two pieces of sheepskin sewn together with no sole on the bottom.Decidedly simple, but they kept the pilots' feet warm.Decades later, it was Australian surfers who discovered that these "ug" boots Christian Louboutin Uk warmed their feet when they came out of the ocean.
The rest is history. Today, they are a fashion staple that warms your feet the way they always have. Worn barefoot, the fleece lining traps your body heat and insulates them from the cold weather. Fast forward to warmer temperatures and the wicking actually draws away the perspiration and keeps your feet cool.Today, these made-in-...
