If you are looking for a relaxing way to end your work day then head to Twilight in the Park at in the gorgeous outdoor Spreckles Organ Pavilion. Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening from June 15th to August 26th from 6:15pm to 7:15pm enjoy music under the stars from an array of bands... from Dixieland Jazz to Rock n' Roll. Entry is free of charge.
Compliment this concert with a picnic in the park (alcohol is actually allowed on the premise until 8pm- just no glass) or a double Happy Hour at the Prado adjacent to the Pavilion (4pm to 6pm and then again from 8pm to 10pm in the bar- great deals and free hummus!)

Do 1/2 price tacos and drink specials make you want to sing? Then this Tuesday head to Super El Camino in Little Italy (the old "Airport Lounge"). This restaurant is visual art with modern Mexican murals and whimsical decor- much like the distinct design of a custom El Camino ... spinning rims and all! On Tuesdays, it has auditory art as well. Enjoy 1/2 off all tacos, $3 margaritas, $3 Coronas and $4 Tecate Tall Boys all night. Karaoke starts at 9:30pm and they are open until 2am.
If you get their early, say 5pm - 7pm, they offer their daily Happy Hour menu: 1/2 off all quesadillas and nachos, $3 Coronas, $3 house margaritas, $20 house margarita pitchers, $3 glasses of Sangria and $15 Sangria pitchers!

Wine Steals Wine Bar is such a hit that they have expanded all over San Diego... and each time we go check out a new location we love that one better than the last! Whether it's the outdoor patio overlooking the golf course in Point Loma, the outdoor patio overlooking the ocean in Cardiff, the rooftop bar in East Village, or the eclectic crowd in Hillcrest... you can't go wrong! Every Tuesday, the Hillcrest Wine Steals location hosts a themed wine tasting from 5:30pm to 7pm for only $5 (unless otherwise specified.)

All a-board (games)! On Tuesday nights The Whistle Stop hosts "Friends Chill" starting at 9pm. Expect a DJ, Atari on a big screen, a giant Connect Four game, Battleship, Uno, Candyland, Shutes and Ladders, Boogle, pool, darts, and- most importantly- drinks! They've been hosting this Happy Late Night for 8 years now... How did I just find out about this?!

Need a classy date idea for midweek? Or maybe you want to impress visitors from out of town? "Jazz Up Your Tuesdays" at Anthology provides an opportunity for you to enjoy specials on a select gourmet menu (they have a new chef using fresh local ingredients!) and drinks while listening to the amazing Anthology house band! I just recently checked this afterwork affair out- and it was packed full of jazz junkies!!! So much fun...

Too tired for a night on the town? My new favorite trendy restaurant Cucina Urbana makes Tuesday nights happy and hassle free!!!
On a Tuesday night you can order a gourmet pizza, a salad, and a bottle of wine (up to $15 value- they sell retail) for take-out all for just $30... all night long!! (They open at 5pm.)

This wine bar is located on the outskirts of downtown (which increases your chances of finding parking). The Cask Room is a real "barrel and bottle" kind of place with an easy going local scene! Ask to talk to Mike, the owner, who is very passionate about wine AND beer!
On Tuesdays their Happy Hour is from 5pm - 7pm and includes $3 draughts, $5 select glasses of wine, and a weekly wine tasting. The tasting is $20 for non wine club members and $10 for club members and it includes 5 half glasses... PLUS tapas and half price paninis!

When you go to Starlite you feel as if you’ve gone back in time to a sexy, retro lounge where intellectual conversation fills the room as hipsters sip on trendy cocktails. The doorway itself is a virtual porthole back to the 70’s. And during these hard times, it's great that we can still enjoy such ambiance without breaking the bank! On Tuesday nights from 5pm - 8pm Starlite offers a 3 course menu for only $20. Looks like the prices have gone back in time too...

Get out of the city and spend some time on an Island! Eno at The Hotel Del Coronado is a wonderful wine bar with outdoor seating that is great for people watching! Experiencing Eno at a discount?? Get out of town! (Literally.)
During their "TASTING TUESDAYS", from 5pm - 8pm, you can sample 10 wines for $10 with Eno's sommeliers! Enjoy your tasting inside over their glowing tables or outside next to their fire pits that overlook the ocean and the Hotel Del crowd. 3-hour parking is validated with purchase.
